Proud to be the
NUMBER ONE
Independent
Hurricane & Tropical Storm Site On The Web
Continuously Published Since 1995!
This website chronicles the deadliest
tropical storms, hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones of America's history, from
1495, to Galveston of 1900, to the present
projected deadliest of all time: Hurricane Katrina.
We are expanding the website significantly,
and thank you for your patience, comments, support, and donations!. We started as a comprehensive
site devoted to Hurricane Andrew in 1995. However, Andrew - bad as it was,
was not the only major storm. Therefore, we are adding every
deadly storm from 1851 onwards. Each new section will
provide detailed information, images and photos, and maps and tracks, of each major hurricane,
cyclone, typhoon, or
tropical storm.
This site is intended to educate and
remind us of how deadly these storms really are. The creator of
this site, himself, is a survivor of 9 hurricanes, including:
Hurricanes: Andrew, David, Hugo, Frances, Charlie, and others; and knows
first hand that knowledge is your best defense against a major storm.
